We've become the major source for ViralUrl Help online

Quick recap of the first week of existence of this now major ViralUrl help source.

We started the blog off by addressing the fact that ViralUrl is not spam even though some members repeatedly use the cheapest, lowest email tricks to get them open.

Then, we discussed reasons why your ViralUrl account isnt profitable – and exactly what you can do to change that immediately.

On that topic, I gave you several great suggestions on what to promote with viralurl – including something I had not thought of but it is a genious move: recruiting affiliates to your business

We’ve also hit some major talking points when I addressed the relation between ViralUrl and network marketing (it does NOT work if you keep sending stuff about your company’s matrix or how much they’ve paid their members so far – you need to focus on offering value!)

One post that really got a lot of attention was the one where I posted the different list builders against viralurl and how their open rates and responses are not even near the ones you get with VU. After that, I had to explain how to track your email marketing results, which is MUCH easier than anybody thinks.

Before you go, I just want to remind you that I explain the basics of VU and exactly how does ViralUrl work and what my results have been so far.

Uff… a lot of stuff for such a brand new blog – But that’s how much VU rocks. They’ve been great to my business, and I’m sure people will get a ton of bang for their buck.

How To Track Your ViralUrl Emails

being able to track your viralurl email results is essential

being able to track your viralurl email results is essential

On our last post I told you how it’s impossible to track ViralUrl open rates, since that technology is quite advanced and no list builder offers it.

But you can absolutely track your ClickThrough Rate (the number of people that clicked on the links on your email).

This data will give you an idea of how good your copywriting skills are, how active are your responses, and which product works best for ViralUrl audiences.

There are tons of options when it comes to tracking visitors, but they’re mostly available for webmasters. If you’re sending traffic to an affiliate page, you won’t have access to their Analytics or Awstats.

So what can you do?

1. Bit.Ly Url Shortener

The guys at bit.ly offer a series of services associated with their url shortening engine. Every  time you shorten a url with bit.ly, they are capable of tracking ALL clicks, even through twitter or facebook – and will give the original data in a simple report.

Bit.Ly tracks all clicks to your links - perfect to track ViralUrl emails

Now, of course, if you use the same shortened url on your twitter, on your blog, and on ViralUrl, your data has a lot of space to get lost and your data will be corrupted. So dont do it!

Create unique urls for your viral blasts – you can keep the same one for every message, but sometimes people open their emails more than 72 hours later, so you have a change of getting your data messed up if they take too long to open.

There you have it – now you have access to crucial data for your marketing campaigns with VU.

Now that you’re very happy, Click here and sign up now!

How Does ViralUrl Stack Up Against Other List-Builders?

November 19, 2009 · Posted in viralurl results · 4 Comments
ViralUrl tops any other ListBuilder out there

ViralUrl tops any other ListBuilder out there

Of course, if you’re looking to purchase a list-builder account like ViralUrl, you’ve already done some research. You know who the top players are and luckily, you know what they offer in terms of response.

WRONG!

You dont have any way of knowing what their response is – none of them offer tracking capabilities. Not even ViraUrl system mailer offers any data related to your submissions.

But you can use other people’s results as data, right?

As arguable as that is, it seems like the best way to get an idea of what these services offer. So to help you out in this tough research, here is the data I’ve collected over the past 6 months:

best list building services

ViralUrl

By far the most effective system, VU charges $197 per YEAR to mail 3000 members every 3 days.

Their system has the lowest spam blockage of all list builders I’ve tried, and I’m currently experiencing a 7-12% clickthrough with VU.

Downline Builders Direct

$197 Yearly or $77 Monthly to mail 20,000 every 3 days.

This one is newer, but has cool features:

You’re allowed to mail 500 members with a free membership.

And
a paid membership lets you mail to a full 20,000 members every 3 days!

List Bandit

$197 Yearly to mail 3000 random members, plus a unique number of bonus members, every 3 days.

Also special advertising to members within the site that enables you to plug subscribers straight into your autoresponder

List Auction

$197 to mail to 3000 every three days.

List Joe

$197 to mail 3000 members. Has a big name in the industry, but lots of bad reviews.

As you can see, I haven’t done very specific data-gathering, but I’ve researched all of those and I still use some of their free services.

My point is very simple – ViralUrl is by far the most complete, and most professional one. All of the other services have extremely high rates of SPAM blockage. (and they dont offer free affiliate link cloaking )

Before You Blast ViralUrl – Quick Checklist

November 18, 2009 · Posted in viralurl results · Comment
Dont let your ViralUrl blast blow on your face

Dont let your ViralUrl blast blow on your face

Have you received ViralUrl emails that started with a weird tag like this one?

{!First_Name} Here’s Your Free …..

Yeah, that is very amateurish. And yes, it drops your open rates to ridiculous numbers.

But that’s only one of the reasons to be extra careful when blasting ViralUrl. To protect your investment, follow these quick tips:

1. Dont Use NAME TAGS.

Using people’s first names is a bit too personal for a ViralUrl email. Save it for when they join your own list.

And there’s no evidence that using their names will increase your open rates, so stay on the safe side.

2. If you’re using Name Tags, make sure they’re correct:

The right way to use the name field for ViralUrl messages is : {firstname}

Pay attention!

3. Double check all of your links

Guys, you only got one chance to make that email count – so make sure you got the right link! Some promotions will die after 72 hours (when you can send another viralurl blast) so try them all before pushing send.

Sometimes it’s tempting to use url shorteners to mask your affiliate links, but the resulting url is really easy to mess up.

Make your life easier (and increase your clickthrough) by using a much more professional approach to cloaking links. (also free).

4. Read your email 3 times before sending

Seriously – make sure everything makes sense, spelling is correct, and that your message is compelling enough to drive anybody to click.

If you feel ok with the message, dont send it – you gotta love everyone of them!

5. MAIL OFTEN!

You get 10 mailings a month – USE THEM ALL!

With this quick checklist, you’ll screw much less on your blasts, so focus on being a steady mailer.
