What Can You REALLY Expect From ViralUrl?

Understand that ViralUrl is like "borrowing" an email list
I’m sure you’re familiar with the nice ViralUrl feature that allows you to email 3000 people every 3 days, but what can you really expect out of it?
Well, I have been using ViralUrl since February of 09, and I’m glad to say I broke even 3 months after.
But in terms of open rate and conversions, the responses were much smaller than I originally expected. Maybe because some of the users still flag ViralUrl messages as spam
Some marketers claim to have a 20-30% return on every email – I dont have any reason to doubt them, but my experience shows that out of the 3000 emails that go out, I get anywhere from 60-100 clicks to my webpages.
That means I’m getting an average of 2.4% Clickthrough on my ViralUrl emails. Of course, after they click on the link, the responsibility of converting them lies on your site, and not on the viralurl system.
Usually, I expect a decent 8% conversion out of those 60-100 visitors, which means for each mailing, I get anywhere from 6-15 leads.
If you have a nice relationship with your list, and share valuable content, each email on it is worth at least $3. For your ViralUrl results, that translates into $18-45 per blast. 10 blasts a month = $180 (minimum). Like I said, in two months, you’ve got your investment fully returned, and before the third month you’re already profiting.
